"That Moment"

Hello All! Back again to share the latest news on the Adelphi Women's Cross Country Team. This past weekend we competed in our NE-10 Conference Championship on Saturday, October 20th. The meet was held at Jamesville Beach County Park in Syracuse, NY. Hosted by Le Moyne College.

Being that the course wasn't the easiest to run on, that didn't stop us from working hard every minute of the race. It was a 6K (3.7 miles). Although, we didn't run the times we were hoping for we ran with a drive, a determination to get to the top as far as possible. Stonehill being the tough competitors that they were won the meet. Not to far behind we came in second. "That moment" came into play. The one where you feel the bone chilling thrill of something good happening. That's what happened to us.


It was the moment where we realized that nothing can stop us, and we're ready for the next step. Next weekend is our NE-10 Regional Meet. Same competitors, different drive. With the goal of Nationals becoming more real than ever it has pushed us to our limits. Couldn't be anymore ready.
