Hello! Checking in about the Adelphi Women's Cross Country team's progress over the course of the past few weeks. To get started, we competed in our NE-10 Regional meet on November 4th at Mines Falls Park  in Nashua, New Hampshire. That was our ticket to Nationals. All we needed was all of us to come together like always, and give every last thing we had. It's just an amazing feeling
to be a part of a team that shares the same goal as you. To have the same drive, and passion. That's what makes a great team. Not the talent, or wins, but the way you work together, how you can call each other family. That's what this team became.
It truly showed on the course that day.

Women's 2012 Regional Race Results

As soon as the gun went off, that was it. What ever we gave out there was our all, and never looked back. We had four girls finish in the top 25 which earned them all-region honors (Elizabeth Eickelberg, Larissa Melendez, Jacqueline Kaste, and Jennifer McNally). The following three girls ran with guts, and showed exactly how hard work pays off. Our final result was truly the most memorable. Referring back to "that moment." The moment where every tear, pain, and sweat shed during that season came down to this final race. My coach announced that we placed second in the race which earned us our spot to Nationals. Nothing else mattered, but that moment there with my team. A season ending race for most was just the beginning for us.
